Training Companies Collaborate with Grŵp Llandrillo Menai to Deliver Tailored Training Solutions across North Wales
(Posted on 26/09/18)
kickstart2employment (k2e) and Gatewen Training Services (GTS) have joined forces with Grŵp Llandrillo Menai to offer employers a tailored training solution across North Wales. k2e and GTS, which are now part of the GAP Personnel Group of companies, provide employers with a unique single point of contact for all staffing and training needs by working collaboratively with training partners across the UK.
As well as apprenticeships and pre-employment programmes, the new provision includes commercial courses, such as HGV Driver Training, CPC, FLT, Confined Space and General Health & Safety programmes, to name but a few. This extensive training portfolio is delivered by a highly skilled team of specialist trainers who operate from a fully equipped training centre in Wrexham. The majority of the courses can also be delivered peripatetically.
Commenting on the collaboration, Will Hughes, Gatewen’s Lead Trainer in North West Wales said:
“I am really excited about having the opportunity to work in partnership with Group Llandrillo Menai across the North Wales region. I have witnessed first-hand the impact training can have on learners from all walks of life and I am looking forward to developing relationships with college staff, local employers and members of the public. One of my main aims is to improve employment opportunities for individuals regardless of ability and socio-economic background. I believe the relationship we have with GAP Personnel allows us to offer a unique one-stop-shop, which can support the local economy”.
By providing an extended commercial training provision at the college for the 2018/19 academic year, GTS & k2e hope to support the development of learners in North Wales. Commenting on the project, Julian Hughes, Managing Director of k2e and GTS said:
“We are thrilled to be working with Christine Evans and her team at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai. Our aim is to complement the existing provision at the College by offering employers and members of the public an extended portfolio of courses, many of which can be funded.
GLLM and GAP Personnel are incredibly enthusiastic about this project and we can’t wait to get started. I believe this collaboration provides the employers of North Wales with a unique single point of contact for all of their staffing and training needs”.
